Seth graduated from Whitman College in 2009 with a BA in Physics. His interest in fluid mechanics started when he was awarded the Swashzone Processes Student Fellowship at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute in 2009. He continued working at Woods Hole as a research technician until he joined the University of Washington’s Applied Physics Lab as a graduate student in 2012.
