The Emergency Radiology section at Harborview Medical Center serves one of the busiest emergency departments in the Pacific Northwest, and is the only Level I adult and pediatric trauma center and regional burn center serving Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. As a center of excellence in providing emergency radiology services, the section has very active roles in continuing medical education, resident and fellowship training, research, and clinical practice.

Annual Emergency Radiology Course

Review a practical current approach to imaging of emergency and trauma patients, from radiologists from the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center, the only Level I adult and pediatric trauma center in a four-state region (Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho).

Fellowship Program

Two one-year fellowship positions providing an overview of emergency radiology are offered each year. We have filled all fellowship positions through June, 2015.  We will accept fellowship applications for the 2015-2016 academic year beginning April 1, 2013.
