Attention: The VFHS Office will move to
a temporary location the week of June 15 to June 19, 2009. The
office will be closed that week and will re-open in the new location on
June 22. The new address is: Bagley Hall, Room 412. This will be the
office location for approximately 6 months. The phone number and email
address remain the same. Bagley Hall is located two buildings south of
the Cunningham Hall location. Volunteers at the VFHS provide a listing service for new and visiting UW faculty and staff requiring rental housing. The requirements of the university person seeking accomodation are matched with the listing attributes of an owner's property. Donations from property owners listing with the VFHS are applied, after deduction of office expenses, to the Faculty Auxiliary Scholarship program. Persons having housing available for rent should contact or visit the office to obtain "housing available" forms. UW new and visiting faculty and staff may receive "housing wanted" forms by e-mail or by surface mail. Listing information is not available online. The VFHS is located on the Seattle campus in Cunningham Hall , Room 213. The office hours are 9:30 - 12:30, Monday through Friday except holidays. Other communication means are:
