statement Arts and Entertainment organizes film showings, lectures, concerts, comedy shows, and special events at the University of Washington. Our mission is to serve students by providing a wide variety of programming interests from mainstream national acts to local and regional talent. Arts and Entertainment recognizes the need for diversity in programming and seeks to provide a well-rounded, culturally diverse calendar that will entertain and educate students. A&E wishes to provide free entertainment to students whenever possible, and guarantees a low ticket price for UW students. A&E encourages suggestions and cosponsorship ideas. Above all, we want our staff, volunteers, and audience to have fun and enjoy the shows. A&E is a program within the ASUW. A&E is governed by the Board of Control and funded through your student activity fee (SAF). |
