On August 23, the Graduate School released\u00a0a new feature in MGP, which allows you to temporarily close an admissions application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To close an application:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select Unit Profile (from the main page of MyGrad Program)<\/li>\n<li>Select the Graduate Admission Profile you want to close<\/li>\n<li>Select Edit Basic Information<\/li>\n<li>Next to <em>Close for Editing<\/em>, select the Edit radio button<\/li>\n<li>Select\u00a0Save Changes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>While an application is closed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>partially completed applications can be completed and submitted<\/li>\n<li>applicants cannot begin a new application<\/li>\n<li>the following message will\u00a0appear on the Graduate School\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/grad.uw.edu\/admissions\/find-a-program\/\">Find A Program<\/a> page: \u201cThe application is temporarily closed for program edits.
