The GSR communicates their decision on a doctoral exam on the Warrant per\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/grad.uw.edu\/policies-procedures\/graduate-school-memoranda\/memo-13-supervisory-committee-for-graduate-students\/\">Memo 13<\/a>. This change was communicated to programs in an email from the Dean and Vice Provost of the Graduate School in July 2017.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This footnote is intended to reduce confusion. We&#8217;ve received feedback from faculty and advisors that GSRs are still expecting to receive a GSR report to complete and return to the Graduate School.<\/p>\n<p>We are also updating our MyGradProgram template e-mails for GSRs and committee members so they always receive a link to the Doctoral Supervisory Roles &amp; Responsibilities page, including when the exams are scheduled.
