Year at UW: Third

View my Honors portfolio »

About me: Hi! I'm Rachel, a UW Honors student aiming to graduate in 2016 who wishes she could major in everything! Instead of everything, however, I decided upon environmental science (after much, much, much deliberation). Being a student at UW gives you instant access to an incredible wealth of resources, and I've found that so much of my education here has been from outside of the classroom. I've had a blast working with Students Expressing Environmental Dedication (SEED) in my freshman year, as well as trying out classes that had little to do with my intended major (psychology, bilingualism, philosophy of gender, and more). This year you might also see me around campus, giving prospective students and other visitors campus tours. Ask me about sustainability at UW, theatre opportunities, dance (all kinds!), living in the residence halls, choosing a major, Dawg Daze, working on campus, studying languages (especially Korean), or anything else that you want to know!
