Year at UW: Third
About me: Hello fellow Honors students! I'm a junior in the Honors program absolutely loving life at UW. I'm double majoring in sociology and public health, and minoring in Spanish. Outside of classes I love cheering on Husky sports (and cheering for whatever team is playing the Ducks), walking around UW's gorgeous campus (I have more than a couple favorite study spots in the U District!), exploring the city via bus, and volunteering around Seattle. On campus, I'm co-president of a club I co-founded called Huskies for Suicide Prevention & Awareness, and we put on an annual suicide awareness walk in the spring as well as work on other events and outreach. I'm also a Mentor in the UW Leaders program, and I work as a Peer Adviser in Undergraduate Academic Affairs -- so I know all the ins and outs of registration, choosing classes, etc. I procrastinate by keeping up with How I Met Your Mother and Grey's Anatomy, and my favorite books include Harry Potter and anything by Mitch Albom. Feel free to ask me any questions you have about Honors, dorm life, apartment life, UW in general, or Seattle in general!
