Michelle Bromberg
Year at UW: Third
About me: Hello, I'm Michelle. I'm all about exploring the world and meeting new people. My interests in medicine, travel, language, and global development have led me to a major in Medical Anthropology and Global health and a minor in African Area Studies. Currently, I mentor students in high school who are studying the neuropharmacology involved in drug use. I'm also affiliated with Hillel, an organization for the Jewish community, where I was an anti-slavery intern working to reduce human trafficking and forced labor. When I need a break from academics, I practice yoga, read, volunteer at a homeless shelter, rock climb, and cook. As the co-president of the Outdoor Adventure Club, I also enjoy getting away from campus on the weekends. Let me know if you're curious about UW or anything related, I'd be happy to tell you more.
