About me: Hi there! My name is Jessica, and I am a senior majoring in Bioengineering. I came to Honors because I was interested in meeting other people a similar passion for learning new things, no matter how quirky or awesome the topic may be. Although pre-med focused, I ultimately was drawn to engineering by how the discipline requires critical thinking, creativity, and applying what you know to build real solutions to problems. If you're wondering if engineering, specifically bioengineering, is for you, I am happy to help with questions! I also love learning outside the classroom doing research and volunteering in the Seattle community, so if you have questions about getting involved in either research or service, feel free to ask. Both are fun, rewarding, and enriching experiences to explore! Finally, I know trying to balance pre-med with other major coursework can be hard, so if you're at all interested I can offer insight as to what I'm doing, and hopefully we can improve your experience. Enjoy Honors because there is really no other way in the university to get a more unique insight into your coursework!
