Honors Criminal Justice Course Featured in UW Today, Seattle Times, The Daily

In Winter 2012, Slavic Languages & Literatures professor Claudia Jensen offered an Honors course in partnership with the Post-Prison Education Program, titled In Your Name: A Service-Learning Experience in Seattle's Criminal Justice System. This groundbreaking course brought together UW Honors students, former prison inmates pursuing higher education, and legal authorities to explore the criminal justice system and its impacts on individuals and their communities.

People With Convictions

On April 11th at 7pm in Kane 120, the Post-Prison Community Collaboration Project (a continuing partnership between the students in the class) held a series of readings, presentations, dance, and theater titled People With Convictions.
