Wang Scholarship

Deadline

All applications must be received no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, March 20, 2009. You may submit them to the front desk of the Honors Office, Mary Gates Hall 211.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be...

  • A student in the College Honors Program
  • Preference is given to students who have had a deep cultural experience with Asia, either through their life experience, studies, or family connections

Application Materials

Please submit five stapled copies of the following:

  1. Application cover sheet (click here to download a printable version)
  2. A resume or curriculum vitae
  3. An unofficial copy of your UW transcript
  4. A 500-word essay describing your cultural connection with Asia and how it has influenced you both personally and academically.
