For a University
of Washington research study at Harborview Medical Center
Examining the
control of inflammatory responses to bacteria
This is an on-going study – which began in 2004.
We are only enrolling new volunteers, so subjects may participate just one time.
What is the
Study?
The University
of Washington Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is performing a study to determine environmental and genetic
factors that control inflammation caused by a severe infection. The study will test how normal human blood
cells react to bacteria.
