Teleservices - TelecommunicationsWelcome to the Telecommunications web site where our motto is "Consider it Done." The Teleservices department is a UW Medicine resource providing communications solutions to the UW Medical Center and outlying clinics. A team of technicians operates and maintains our telephone system, including the Private Branch Exchange (PBX). They handle all work orders and trouble calls. In addition they manage a robust data communications network including redundant high-speed Internet connectivity for patients and visitors. Our department oversees and coordinates voice services for staff and patients. Our goal is to provide information, service, and assistance for the use of state-of-the-art communications services. From providing up-to-date telephone numbers for callers to the main switchboard to assisting staff with long distance dialing, paging support, cellular phones or planning individual communications needs and researching future telecommunication trends, our professional staff can assist you.
