Application Fee Waivers and Graduate Scholarships

The University of Rochester maintains a comprehensive list of Graduate Fellowships and Application Fee Waivers for McNair scholars.

Other McNair Programs

Currently, 156 colleges and universities around the country house a McNair Program.

The University of California-Berkeley McNair Program maintains the McNair Program Locator, which allows you to find McNair Programs around the country by name, state, or map location.

National McNair email list

We encourage you to join the National McNair email list, where McNair students and staff share information about their programs.

To sign up for the McNair listserv, send an email message addressed to:

listserv@Mail.McNairScholars.Org

with

Subscribe McNairStudents

(and nothing else!) in the BODY of the message.

The listserv is a computer program that looks for four things:

• The address the message is sent to (must be listserv@Mail.McNairScholars.Org)
• The address the message is from (must be the student's email account)
• The word "Subscribe" (must be in the BODY of the message, please leave the subject line blank)
• The word "McNairStudents" (must be all one word and must appear immediately after a space after the word "subscribe")
