Jordan Brown

Mathematics

Jordan Brown is a rising junior studying mathematics at the University of Washington. Jordan is interested in algebraic geometry, internal set theory, and various topics in the physical sciences. Jordan is also interested in comparative literature and critical literary theory, particularly in digital contexts. They have taught at the eMode Learning Foundation for the past three years and are an active member of Huskies for Food Justice. In the future, Jordan hopes to improve our understanding of algebraic geometry and Hodge theory, as well as to work with other students from ethnic and cultural backgrounds which are underrepresented in mathematics and physics. In their spare time, Jordan enjoys playing chess, studying languages, and reading 20th century literature.
