Bioengineering / Computer Science

Robert is a rising senior studying Bioengineering and Computer Science and is interested in research that lies at the interface of computer science, math, and biology to improve human health. His summer research experiences have shaped him and his academic interests immensely. Robert is extremely grateful for the staff and students who were a part of the 2015 UW FenOM ALVA, the 2016 SRPG at the Broad Institute, and the 2017 Summer Institute in Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School, as they have had a lasting impact and influence by supporting him in his academic goals. Outside of research, Robert is involved in BioEnspire and the diversity committee of the UW Department of Bioengineering. In his spare time, Robert enjoys skateboarding and spending time with friends and family over good food and coffee.
