Rotation Goals & Objectives

These learning goals and objectives include many of the types of activities expected of residents on each clinical rotation. These are representative (but not comprehensive) lists of the expectations of the faculty and supervising physicians on these rotations. The evaluations for these rotations mirror these learning goals and objectives, and faculty members will be asked to directly observe and comment in MedHub upon each resident's performance for these activities. The residency program expects that most interns will require close supervision, while senior residents will likely need less supervision for each of these activities. We encourage you to examine these learning goals and objectives at the start of each rotation, and to review them with faculty members to solicit constructive feedback for improvement.
