The UW Dermatology Center at Roosevelt provides comprehensive dermatology care to patients with skin diseases ranging from common to unusual.  It is a fast paced clinic with patients seen every 20 minutes.  Participation at this clinic site will increase your ability to identify skin cancers, treat psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, cutaneous lymphoma, connective tissue diseases and conditions of the hair and nails.  You will work alongside dermatology residents and medical students.  You will better understand the differences in approach of a primary care provider and specialist in the management of skin diseases.

Residents need to learn and become facile with the dermatologic vocabulary in order to generate clinical differential diagnoses so that accurate descriptions can be made to dermatologists when requesting consultative services in the future.

Please arrive 15 minutes early on first day.
