Residents will develop an in-depth (two month) appreciation for the medical, nutritional, pharmacy and social issues of both early and advanced HIV-1 infection. In general, each resident will see approximately 4 or more patients per session and many of these patients will be seen for a follow-up visit later in the resident's clinic rotation; as such, every effort is made to provide continuity for the resident's clinic experience.
