Personal Health Preparation

It is advised to set up an appointment with your primary care physician 4 to 6 weeks prior to your departure. If you have ongoing medical issues and are planning a longer trip you may want to see your doctor 8 to 10 weeks prior to your trip. Your doctor will want to know where and when you will be traveling.
