Chief Resident Travel Policy

Chief Residents at Harborview Medical Center, Swedish Medical Center – Providence Campus, University of Washington Medical Center, and VA Puget Sound Health Care System have up to $1,000 available annually to defray travel expenses associated with attending a meeting approved by their Service Chief. Any costs over $1,000 will be the responsibility of the Chief Resident.

This money is available only for travel. Any unused portion will not be provided as a cash payment, in the form of books, technology, or payment for other expenses.

The Service Chief at each institution is responsible for providing $1,000 for each of his/her Chief Residents annually.
