About MESH

The MESH Project was organized in 2006 to better understand, optimize, and communicate the amount and breadth of efforts underway across UW healthcare-related departments, facilities, projects, and programs that incorporate elements of sustainability. With so many efforts underway across the UW to integrate social and environmental responsibility into healthcare, our idea was that by providing a clearinghouse of information we could then look for synergies in these activities to make our efforts even more effective.
