The Charles M. Schulz Museum is accepting applications for Curator. Located in Santa Rosa, California, the Charles M. Schulz Museum is internationally recognized as a dynamic non-profit museum dedicated to the life and art of Peanuts creator, Charles M. Schulz. The ideal candidate is a multi-talented, vibrant curator with demonstrated curatorial and supervisory experience. Knowledge of 20th century American cultural history is preferred. The Curator is primarily responsible for the development, planning, and research of all in-house and traveling exhibitions. As team leader, this position oversees professional staff in both the exhibition and collections departments. The Charles M. Schulz Museum is searching for a creative, high-energy candidate with excellent communication and writing skills necessary for producing and editing all didactic materials for eight to ten exhibitions a year. Postgraduate degree in Museum Studies or related field. Five or more years of museum curatorial experience and supervision of professional staff.
