Innovative educational consulting firm seeks energetic, entrepreneurial professional to lead and grow research and evaluation team focusing on projects in STEM, environmental, and health education. Individual will be responsible for identifying and developing new research studies focused on STEM teaching and learning and in designing and implementing evaluations focused on current portfolio of projects exploring educator professional development, K- -12 engineering education, parent and family engagement in STEM, museum- -based learning, youth mentoring and student competitions. Specific responsibilities include conducting research and literature reviews; designing and implementing front- -end, formative and summative evaluation studies; survey design, focus group facilitation, and data analysis; market and industry benchmarking; proposal preparation, report writing, presentations, and publication; staff and contractor supervision; client cultivation and project management.
Individuals must have excellent oral and written communication skills, experience with SPSS or similar statistical software, and minimum six years experience in research and evaluation. Master’s Degree required, Ed.D/Ph.D. preferred. Experience in both formal and informal education settings a plus. Applications reviewed upon receipt.
