Class of 2006

"The most useful part about an interdisciplinary program such as the Museology Program is that it not only prepares you to do your own work, but it also helps you gain firsthand knowledge and experience of others' work within an institution. That's a tremendous advantage when job seeking and in the work field."

Tuition and Fees

Tuition for 2011-2012 is $4991 per quarter plus a non-refundable $39 registration fee and UW Seattle campus fees including the $41 UW Technology fee and the $159 Student and Activities fee.*

The Technology fee supports the improvement of technology used by the students at the University of Washington campuses. The Services & Activities fee, IMA Bond Fee and Facilities Renovation fee support student activities and programs such as ASUW and GPSS Activities, Student Publications, Student Loan Fund, Hall Health Primary Care Center, recreational sports programs, childcare, student legal services, Ethnic Cultural Center, and Student Union facilities.

The Museology Program is a self-sustaining program, also known as a fee-based degree.  There is no out-of state tuition rate and all tuition funds go to support the Program.

A portion of the course fees will be used to defray the cost of receptions, food, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages served at program events and activities.

* Fees listed are current as of June 2011. Fees are set annually and are subject to change from year to year.
