Spring Quarter Begins

Apr
22

Spring quarter has been in session for about three weeks now, and the battalion has been as busy as ever. On Saturday, April 13th, the Husky Battalion had it's first ever Barks and Recreation Day. This event was successful thanks to the hard work and planning of the Gold Department. Some highlights of the day were the performance of the Regulation Drill team at Red Square and the Students vs. Staff volleyball game. The Reg. Drill Team continued the nearly 90+ year tradition of close-order drill at the University of Washington.

A local event will take the place of NWN, on April 13th, to showcase the hard work and talent of the many teams the Husky Battalion has been preparing.

Attention On Deck!

Nov

Nice job representing the battalion well while RDML Wetherald was here. It was an incredible opportunity to have a flag officer and University of Washington NROTC alumnus return and give us a brief on naval operations in the Pacific. Thanksgiving weekend provided a nice break from school so we can hit the books even harder in preparation for finals.
PT tomorrow will be at the Pavillion Pool while the makeup PRT is occuring at the IMA Turf Field. Sail Team Maintenance Day is this Saturday.
