Mounting & Lamination
Mounting
Mounting provides a rigid support for your poster.
-
Foam Core board - 3/8" thick, light weight, white or black
The maximum size print for mounting on foam core is 94" x 47" The foam core comes 48"x 96", but mounting right out to the edges is difficult and the boards often have flaws along the edges. - Feedkote - flexible, thin cardboard. Maximum size: up to 26" x 40"
Lamination
Lamination protects your poster surface from finger prints, weather, fading, and other damage.
- Front-sided (front): front surface only, semi-gloss or gloss finish - good for protecting conference posters that are going into "travel" tubes. Posters laminated front-sided can still be rolled.
- Double-sided (encapsulation): laminated on both sides, semi-gloss or gloss, sealed around edges for maximum protection, fairly stiff. Maximum size: 48" x 60". Posters laminated double-sided cannot be easily rolled.
- Whiteboard / Dry Erase: front-sided, rollable. Maximum size: 48" x 96" if unmounted; 48" x 84" if mounted.

Mounting AND Laminating
For a solid, long-lasting poster, you can choose any mount board with single-sided or whiteboard / dry erase lamination. Double-sided lamination (encapsulation) CANNOT be done on mounted posters.
