Hello, you have reached the public website for the Project to Improve Symptoms and Mood after SCI (spinal cord injury) website. The PRISMs study is a multi-site study on the effectiveness of venlafaxine XR (effexor XR) as a treatment for individuals with low mood after SCI. PRISMs is funded by NIDRR and our sites consist of the the University of Washington (UW), the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), the University of Michigan (UM), and the Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation (BIR).

With this site we hope to be able to bring you more information about  low  mood after SCI, and have some resources for you to learn about low mood and other symptoms that are associated with SCI.
