Shortly after completing her B.S. in nutritional science and experimental foods at the University of Washington, Martha joined the Research Section of the Department of Family Medicine in 1979 as a secretary. She subsequently pioneered the use of word processing technology in the department and now provides a wide range of electronic production services. She is also responsible for dissemination of the final report series.
