Application information

Our deadline for applications to be submitted is December 31, 2014. Please make sure you have submitted to the appropriate program prior to that date. For references, we do not require anything beyond what is entered in PhORCAS. Emailed/mailed or otherwise submitted reference letters are not encouraged. We do understand that sometimes application materials are late arriving, but be assured that we will review all applicants who have designated our program.


UW Medicine Department of Pharmacy Services offers several ASHP-accredited postgraduate PGY1 and PGY2 residencies. While the specific mix of offerings may vary from year to year, each residency provides twelve months of intense pharmacy practice training. Flexibility built into our programs allows each resident to tailor a program to fit their individual needs. Our goal is to help our residents develop the advanced skills and competencies needed to assume leadership roles within the profession.
