Instructions for residency applicants

 

After you have created your account you will receive an email with instructions and a link to login to the site. If you don't see the email, be sure to check your "Junk" or "Spam" email folders. To get started, click "Start a new application" in the Applications Menu. Menu items may not appear until we are ready to start accepting applications, which will be November 1, 2011. Items submitted before that date will be DELETED. Please note these important details BEFORE you start:

  1. In the application, your name MUST be listed in the format Lastname, Firstname. This is so your references will be able to find you in the system.
  2. Your Letter of Intent, CV and a picture are REQUIRED to be uploaded.
  3. Your references will be linked to your application, therefore it is highly recommended to have an application submitted before the recommendations are added. Make sure your references are given directions to this site. All references should be submitted online through this site. If your reference is unable to do this, they may send them via email to uwrxres@uw.edu with your name in the "Subject" line. Hard copy letters of reference via regular mail are discouraged
  4. Transcripts will need to be mailed to us directly from your school or in a school-sealed envelope . They should be addressed to:

  5. Applicants for the Health-System Pharmacy Administration/MHA program have additional application requirements. Visit www.prnrx.org/residency/applications.html for these items.
  6. Once the application is submitted, you will not be able to change it. When we have verified and/or received additional materials, we will update your information. You will receive an automated email when your application is updated. You can see what has been verified by clicking the "My Application" link in the Applications menu.
  7. All access to this site is strictly monitored. Any attempt to view another applicants information, or to view any references will result in your application being withdrawn.
  8. ALL application materials are due by January 6, 2012. The materials received section may not be updated on this site until January 9, 2012. Please do not call to verify the receipt of any materials until after then.
