SITC-Aloha Health Outreach Center

The SITC-Aloha Health Outreach Center meets weekly to provide one-on-one assistance with health promotion, disease prevention and coordination of care for Aloha Inn residents. Aloha residents with medical needs are directed to UW Medicine facilities and Community Health Clinics, where SITC students can participate in the care team. Aloha residents with nonmedical health-related needs are directed to other resources in the community.

Signing Up
Students enrolled in health profession training programs at UW and faculty preceptors are welcome to volunteer at the SITC-Aloha Health Outreach Center. Community providers who wish to obtain UW clinical faculty status in order to precept at the Outreach Center should email the student Director(s).

You will not receive confirmation of the dates you've signed up for. To view the calendar for dates you are signed up or to see what dates are available for additional students to attend click on Calendar. To see the complete details and all those signed up to work at a given Sunday Center session, please click on the small clock icon below the interested date.
You will receive a reminder email the week preceding the Sunday session you are signed up for. If you are unable to make it to a Center session for which you have volunteered, please contact the clinic manager for the week listed on the reminder email.
Health Outreach Center Volunteers: Please arrive by 2:15pm and review the Orientation materials beforehand.

The Aloha is located at 1911 Aurora Ave N Seattle, WA, between the Aurora Avenue bridge and downtown, on the west side of the street (on the right if you're heading into downtown).
