NIH Concussion Study


Researchers at the National Institutes of Health are looking for volunteers to participate in a research study involving fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imaging) with simple response tasks. fMRI/MRI involves no radiation.  This is a research study. It does not provide any treatment.

To participate in this study, you must be:

- Between 18-40 years old
- Have had a concussion treated in a hospital/clinic
- Able to perform simple tasks with full attention for at least an hour
- Right handed

This study involves:

- Non-invasive magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI/MRI)
- Performing simple tasks
- We will arrange and pay for travel if needed
- Will compensate for your time up to $230
