General information on TBI – definitions, causes, preventive measures, and resources. - Brain Injury Association of Washington is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people who have sustained a brain injury and their families by providing services such as information resources, legislative advocacy, public awareness campaigns, and support groups.
- Washington State Traumatic Brain Injury Council. The Washington Traumatic Brain Injury Strategic Partnership Advisory Council was created from House Bill 2055 approved by the Washington State Legislature in 2007. See Chapter 74.31 of the RCW. The council includes 24 members who are Governor appointed to advise on Traumatic Brain Injury issues in Washington State.

- Caregiver Magazine offers general resources for caregivers.
- Centre for Neuro Skills (CNS) provides comprehensive resource information about community programs, books, articles, and medical news on traumatic brain injury. It also has convenient search tools to look up specific questions you may have about brain injury.
- Family Caregiver Alliance offers a clearinghouse of resources for caregivers including fact sheets with straightforward information.
- NFCA: National Family Caregivers Association provides extensive resources for caregivers.
- Waiting.Com is a resource on brain injury coma and the early stages of recovery for family members and friends of persons with brain injuries. It explains what is taking place in the intensive care unit, answers frequently asked questions that family members have, and provides a place to email questions that are still unanswered.

- MedPrompt is a very useful service for those in need of extra help remembering when to take their medication. The service uses a pager system that alerts users with a customized electronic notice that tells them when, which, and how much medication to take.
- Mind Tools helps develop time management and organizational skills.
- Senior Services is a nonprofit agency available to seniors in Seattle and King County, Washington that provides a comprehensive list of community activities, transportation, and other resources.
- RAMP, the Regional Access Mobility Program, using all volunteer labor, builds ramps for individuals with mobility problems. Currently there is not enough funding to build the ramps at no cost, but most materials are obtained at contractor's discounts, and this savings is passed on to the consumer. Everett, WA 98201 - "Making Your Case" Advocacy Training is a free, Internet-based learning program designed for use by people with disabilities, family members, and concerned citizens interested in creating policy change through advocacy. There is no cost for this interactive, self-paced learning program. It takes about three hours to complete, and is available 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
- Seattle Cherry Hill Brain Injury Support Group meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at two different locations in the Seattle area.
