UW Starbucks cards now available
June 3, 2010—What's purple and gold and helps support the university while you get coffee? It's Starbucks' new UW card, and we're the only university in the world that's got one.
Every time a UW-licensed card is purchased, the university receives a licensing fee of 50 cents to support general operations and Intercollegiate Athletics.
They're available in the UW Tacoma Starbucks this week, but only until supplies run out. They're already showing up on eBay. If you want one, better get it soon.
