The Martin Family Foundation established the Martin Achievement Scholarship program to fund students who have demonstrated signs of exceptional ability in sciences, math, engineering, business, arts, humanities, music (all academic fields are supported), and/or leadership at a community college in the state of Washington.
Martin Achievement Scholars may receive $5,000 in support for their final year in community college and up to $12,000 per year for three years at UW in Seattle.
Eligibility
- This scholarship is open to WA resident students who have another year of full-time enrollment left to complete at their WA community college during 2025-26 and are looking forward to transferring to UW Seattle during the 2026-27 academic year (summer 2026 or later).
- The scholarship provides $5,000 during the final year at community college (2025-26) and $12,000/year for up to 3 years at UW Seattle (contingent upon admission) starting in 2026.
- This scholarship program typically receives a small number of applications (~20) for the 2-4 scholarships available. For those who can plan ahead, this is a good opportunity!
