MyUW

Service Description: 

MyUW is the enterprise portal for accessing general and personalized University of Washington resources and services via the Web.

MyUW provides relevant and personalized content for users to fulfill their goals at the UW based on their relationship to the university.

Users can also customize MyUW by including or excluding the content listed, adding their own favorite links in a custom content box on any MyUW page, and using drag and drop to move the content boxes to different locations on the page.

In addition, campus units can develop content for publication on the MyUW enterprise portal. See information under "How to Order" about publishing content on MyUW.

 

Service Options: 

MyUW Class is a service found under the Teaching tab in MyUW. This service provides class lists for instructors. 

MyUW Calendar is a Web-based calendar program for tracking personal meetings, appointments, and events. 

UW campus events can be added to the UW Events Calendar and Departmental Calendars.

This service is included in the Technology Recharge Fee.

Service Level Description: 

Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the exception of upgrades, maintenance, and outages. Service and servers are monitored for interruptions.

Planned maintenance for a system upgrade is generally one to two times per year from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. on a weekend.

For unplanned outages, the system is restored as soon as possible.
