UWare
UWare's goal is to provide a service to negotiate, administer, and distribute specific licensed software to the UW community.
The Software Guide contains information about software at the UW such as Sophos anti-virus, Red Hat Linux, statistical programs, Adobe products, Microsoft products, mathematical and engineering software and others. See a complete list of titles available at http://uw.edu/uware/list-software.html
Licensing options vary by the Terms and Conditions of each license.

Some software may be ordered through e-procurement 24 hours a day.
Prices for software distributed by UWare vary by title. Some software is available at no charge.
Some titles distributed are available for purchase only to those with valid UW budget numbers or by UW Pro Cards.
UW Information Technology responds to requests/queries within 2 business days.
Support for individual titles varies by title. Support contacts are provided in the Software Guide under each title.
