Site supervisors are expected to orient the UW tutor/mentor to the tutoring areas as well as the high school policies, ethical guidelines, multicultural issues, and any other pertinent information that the tutor/mentor needs to know. Site supervisors are expected to approve tutor/mentor schedules and complete an evaluation form for each tutor/mentor at their site.
RELATIONSHIP WITH THE PROGRAM
The program seeks a collaborative relationship with each site supervisor toward the mutual goal of providing the highest quality learning experience possible for both the UW tutor/mentor and the high school student. During each quarter the program coordinator will connect with the site supervisor to review tutor/mentor progress and experience. If at any time the site supervisor has any questions or concerns about the tutor/mentor or any aspect of the process or procedures, the site supervisor is encouraged to call the program coordinator.
