Education

Urban Planning and Design (with a concentration on architecture and arts), Sichuan University

Research summary

I've always enjoyed the diversity of knowledge. With a fine arts background of over 10 years, I have a great passion for the arts. With an interest in physics and math, I fell in love with engineering.
Growing up in the countryside to downtown area, I love how cities change, and how metropolitan planning goes on. I started reading economic/business materials since high school. I like studying different strategies in business competition.

Academically, I have the greatest dedication to architectural study, with a big interest in metropolitan planning.

Highlights

I enjoy the American way of life, and also maintain my own way. Coming to America was one of my early dreams, and I'm glad I made it. I got to know American people's interesting lives, I like hanging out with them and making friends with them. I believe every culture has its own treasure that no others can replace, and that's why I've always respected people's life and get to know their lives.

I'm grateful for the exchange program which gave me the great chance to experience the American life and education. I gained a sizable amount of knowledge in architecture and engineering, and a good understanding of the western way of metro planning.

I also had some of the best times in Seattle as a member of UW DJ club, a volunteer in building construction in light frame construction in South Seattle, a volunteer as a graphic designer for local performing center, a party photographer for underground events...

This is just like an adventure, and I'm glad to have this unforgettable experience in my life.
