Research summary
My general area of research interest includes evolutionary and systematic biology, biomechanics, etc. I have a natural history background and a life-long hobby of organism biology, especially in fields of entomology and herpetology.
Currently I am working on genetic basis of adaptive trait evolution in Mimulus flowers with Prof. Toby Bradshaw and working on the biomechanics of directed aerial descent (gliding) in an Australian stick insect in Tom Daniel's lab.
