Digital Ventures has helped transfer many University of Washington innovations to the public. The following profiles describe some of Digital Ventures' experience transferring technology for different research projects. Automated detection of clinical laboratory errors using Bayesian inference
bayesLENS was developed by a team in the Biomedical and Health Informatics program.

Transit information delivered through an internet application
Busview is a project of the Intelligent Transportation Systems Research Program in the College of Engineering.

Anatomical knowledge source for bioinformatics research and application development
The Digital Anatomist Foundational Model of Anatomy (FMA) was developed by the Structural Infomatics Group the University of Washington School of Medicine.

Web-based drug interaction database
The Metabolism and Transport Drug Interaction Database was developed by a team in the Department of Pharmaceutics.

Multimedia political election game distributed through a Web download
The Election Day computer game was developed by Dr. John Gastil in the Department of Communication.

Interactive lab training software on CD-ROM
Laboratory TUTOR Software was developed by researchers in the Department of Laboratory Medicine.

Molecular biology software tools
Rosetta Software was developed by researchers in the Baker Laboratory at the Department of Biochemistry.

Teller Acuity Cards?and Teller Acuity Cards II
The Teller Acuity Cards offer a rapid and reliable method for judging the visual acuity of infants, and nonverbal adults.

Education program
Walk a Mile is an educational program developed at the School of Social Work that brings together politicians and welfare families.

Web archive and analysis platform
WebArchivist.org is a research project based in part at the Department of Communication that preserves Web publications for future analysis and study.

Patented technologies
Digital Ventures manages a portfolio of patents, some of which may be available for licensing.
