SAAM II and PopKinetics
SAAM II and PopKinetics are compartmental and numerical modeling tools in use at hundreds of commercial sites and academic labs in the United States and abroad. See the detailed descriptions below for more information on each tool.
These two tools may be licensed together or separately. Information on licensing these programs is provided below.
EXPRESS LICENSE: The Express License agreement below is used to enable access to either SAAM II (including version upgrades) or PopKinetics, or both. The Express License applies to:
Commercial/Consulting/Fee-for-Service organizations;
Academic/Government/Nonprofit Research organizations; and
NIH Federal Government Laboratories.
Attachment B of the Express License provides the corresponding royalty schedule for each of the organization types listed above. The royalty is a one-time fee for access to the executable software program(s), in the form of single-computer/single-user licenses. Site licenses are not available at this time.

TEACHING LICENSE:
A time-limited twelve-month Teaching License is available for faculty teaching university courses for academic credit. The teaching license is at no cost.

SAAM II
SAAM II is a compartmental and numerical modeling program developed to assist researchers and practitioners (in the pharmaceutical and biomedical field, other scientific disciplines, and operations
research) develop and use models to analyze data. Executable format only (Microsoft Windows 95/98/Me or Windows NT 3.51 or later, or Windows 2000/XP/XP Pro, or Windows Vista). The most current version of SAAM II is v2.0. Upgrades are available to convert earlier versions of SAAM II (v1.0, v1.1, and v1.1.1) to the current version v2.0. See licensing information for SAAM II.
PopKinetics
PopKinetics is program that analyzes populations of individual subjects, where each subject in the population is represented by one SAAM II Compartmental Study File. Compatible with SAAM v2.0 only. Executable format only (Microsoft Windows 95/98/Me or Windows NT 3.51 or later, or Windows 2000/XP/XP Pro, or Windows Vista). See licensing information for PopKinetics.
