Musculoskeletal Atlas

Musculoskeletal Atlas contains more than 80 anatomical images of upper and lower extremities. The images may be licensed for many uses. Some of the most recent requests for licenses have been for: instructional digital and print resources, content for websites, illustrations in publications, and handouts for training sessions, examples connected to consumer and professional products or services. Licensing Information

For Academic and Scholarly Use
As an academic courtesy and to promote scholarly use of the Atlas Images, UW and the developers of the Images may grant permission for peer-reviewed articles, classroom use and student papers. To request permission for academic and scholarly use you will need to complete the click-through request form and provide information on your intended use.

For Other Uses and All Commercial Use of Images

Use of the Atlas Images requires a license. UW makes the Atlas Images available for non-exclusive license for reproduction for:

- Accredited educational & government institutions for a license fee of $300 (US Dollars);

- Commercial and for-profit entities for a license fee of $1500 (US Dollars).

All licenses are non-exclusive and incur a one-time payment of the appropriate license fee. Licensees receive a CD-ROM with ALL of the Images. The complete set of Images is on the CD in HTML and JPEG formats and is linked to an index of the Images for user convenience. Images are suitable for reformatting for publication purposes. UW and its copyright acknowledgment statement must appear on all images used.

To fill out the appropriate license, you will need the following information:

- Name and delivery address (street address) of the Licensee;

- Title of the publication and/or project for which the Images will be used.
