Every year as part of Dawg Daze, Student Veteran Life hosts a series of events for both undergraduate and graduate student veterans to welcome them either to the University of Washington for the first time or back for another school year. Check out this year’s lineup of events below.
PRE-FALL WELCOME SESSIONS

SERVICE DAWGS UNLEASHED

Join Student Veteran Life and Husky Veterans as we bring pet therapy to the campus at large. Service dogs will be brought out to the HUB Lawn and let off their leashes to play and interact with students. Learn about what pet therapy and animals can do for you!
HUSKY VETERANS KICK-OFF MEETING

Get involved with the campus’s largest veteran RSO, Husky Veterans. Learn about goals for the year, hear about leadership opportunities, and find other student veterans on campus at this kick-off meeting.
VETERANS NIGHT OUT
Sept. 28| 6:00 pm – 8:00 p.m. | HUB Games Area
Kick-off to the new school year at Veterans Night Out. Bring your family, win prizes, and spend an evening bowling, playing games, and meeting fellow student veterans. Events start at 6:00 in the HUB Games Area.
