Turning Regional Visions Into Real Results

A project based at the University of Washington's Evans School of Public Affairs, Turning Regional Visions Into Real Results, focuses on institutional arrangements, programs and processes, and tools which different regions have employed to realize their planning goals.

Recent Activities
The Sixth Annual Stegner Center Symposium, Metropolitan Growth: Turning Regional Visions into Real Results, was held February 22 - February 24, 2001 at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. A collaborative effort of the Daniel J. Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington and the Wallace Stegner Center for Land, Resources and the Environment at the University of Utah School of Law, the three-day symposium drew speakers and attendees from across the nation.

Symposium research was supported by a grant from the Surdna Foundation.
