The St. James Family Center won recognition for meeting all of the goals of Let's Move! Child Care the national initiative to prevent obesity in young children. The only licensed child care center in Wahkiakum County, St. James offers a range of programs. more
USDA Funds Farm to School Expansion
Two rural school districts received significant grants from the US Department of Agriculture to expand their Farm to School initiatives. In addition, the Washington State Department of Agriculture received an award to continue their crucial technical assistance to other districts. more
