Healthy Community Design and Access to Healthy Food Legislation Database

Collects, tracks, and summarizes state legislation aiming to increase access to healthy food or opportunities for physical activity. The database is maintained by the National Conference of State Legislatures and is typically updated bi-monthly January through May, and monthly the remainder of the year.

Chronic Disease State Policy Tracking System

This CDC system contains over 5,000 policies related to Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. Browse the policies or select specific health categories to narrow the list.

Healthy Counties Database

This database collects model policies, programs and initiatives that counties nationwide have enacted to
promote wellness and help prevent childhood obesity. Contents are searchable by state and county size.
The National Association of Counties maintains the database with information submitted by local governments.

Strategic Alliance ENACT Local Policy Database

Catalogues promising nutrition and physical activity policies to provide local policy makers, health advocates and the media with concrete examples of what’s being tried / adopted in other locales. Examples of Washington state policies captured in the database include Clark County's Worksite Wellness Nutrition Policy, Whitman's City Pedestrian/Bicycle Circulation Plan, Tacoma-Pierce County's Complete Streets Policy, and Seattle's Local Food Action Initiative.
