The Centers for Disease Control, Division of Adolescent and School Health provides this biannual survey to states for the purpose of tracking middle, junior and high school health policies and health education content. The survey is administered to principals and lead health teachers in a statewide sample. Washington has created fact sheets highlighting some of the findings from the Profiles data.
